ACHILLEA, SUMMER PASTELS

Hardy Perennial. Strong-stemmed pastel flower clusters in a beautiful range unusual for Yarrow. Foliage is fragrant and lacy. Flowers first year from seed and will bloom continuously until heavy frost. Blooms faithfully year after year.

After all danger of frost, press seed into prepared soil. Do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Coated for ease of handling. For earlier bloom, start indoors in flats 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. When plants are 2 inches high, thin or transplant. In mild climates, sow May-July for winter bloom.

Excellent for beds, cut flowers (fresh or dried). Will tolerate excessive moisture, prolonged droughts, and exposed coastal areas. Adaptable to conditions as variable as Alaska and Florida.
