SUNFLOWER, LEMON QUEEN
Annual. This well branched sunflower produces 10 inch lemon yellow flowers by midsummer. Heads have dark centers and semi-double petals. To extend blooming season, keep cutting the flowers after they have matured. Easy to grow.
After all danger of frost, sow in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1 inch soil. When plants are 4 inches high, thin. Needs lots of water.
Provides an attractive screen for unsightly places and fences. Use as a cut flower or bird feed.
